Jude Bellingham breaks his silence after ‘ugly bust-up with Real Madrid teammate’ ahead of Arsenal showdown.

Jude Bellingham has spoken up after Real Madrid’s Champions League aspirations were derailed by a training field incident.

The England midfielder was allegedly involved in a ‘ugly’ altercation during a Real Madrid training session on Friday before being rested for the team’s La Liga victory against Alaves on Sunday.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti kept Bellingham and Vinicius Jr off of his starting lineup against Alaves, but both came on in the final half hour as Los Blancos attempted to maintain their advantage with 10 men following Kylian Mbappe’s early departure.

Ancelotti is now entirely focused on Wednesday’s second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against Arsenal.

Real Madrid will face an uphill struggle, trailing 3-0 following a poor first-leg performance at the Emirates Stadium last week.

Their preparations were hampered on Friday when 21-year-old Bellingham objected to a challenge from teammate Antonio Rudiger during training, according to El Chiringuito reporter Edu Aguirre.

The arguing duo purportedly had to be removed during the altercation, which occurred during a small-sided game at the club’s training facility and was sparked by Bellingham allegedly criticizing a teammate.

Both players finally played against Alaves on Sunday, and the incident, which appears to have been no more dramatic than the type of conflicts that occur between football teammates all over the world on a daily basis, will quickly fade from memory.

With a 3-0 deficit to overcome, the 15-time European champions had more pressing problems to address.

Bellingham has not yet addressed the face-to-face with Rudiger, but he did share a message to Real Madrid fans on Instagram stories following the victory over Alaves
